Please be aware of a letter which has been sent to the Shared Facility Committee regarding the landscaping contract, on your behalf, we must rally our efforts, please add your voice:
Good Evening Members of the Shared Facility Committee:
I would very much like to take this time to speak up, as a concerned Owner, I am not alone in my observations of the landscaping and grounds neglect. We understand that this contract and its administration falls under your responsibilities.
We are in the process of forming an Owners Committee to address several concerns and bring these concerns to the attention of the representatives of the Shared Facility Committee. We desire change and we encourage improvement. As our slogan under our corporation logo states, Don’t Move, Improve.
We have recently received and are reviewing a copy of the landscape contract. We would like to review the Scope of Work with the owner of the company. We feel that the company is not honoring their commitment and should be held responsible to correct this deficiency..
We formally request a copy of the security house sign in log, showing times and dates that the employees of ALMEIDA & ALMEIDA LANDSCAPING LTD., attended the property during the working day. Copies of the pages with other entries blacked out is totally acceptable to us. As contributors to the Shared Facility Security Budget, we should be able to review this log with discretion.
We need to be able to confirm, how many times the ‘full time (8 hours per day, 5 days per week) landscaper’, attended our property, specifically from May to Mid Sept, 2015. In recent canvassing of residents of the Townhomes, Condo Apartments and the Commercial units, the general consensus is that this person, was scarce if not non existent, as evidenced by the garden and grounds neglect, and especially the north east corner of the grounds.
We feel that the owner of the landscaping company should be called in, to discuss the current problem, and to come to an understanding of how the contract should be enforced.
We hope to have this security log document in a timely manner, as the snow will be falling soon and we would like to walk through the facility with the owner of ALMEIDA & ALMEIDA LANDSCAPING LTD., before everything freezes. We will be documenting landscaping and grounds neglect with cameras as well, for the record.
