re: Transparency, Community Rumor and Speculation

It has been brought to our attention that certain members of our community have been engaging in dialogue accusing certain YRCC878 Board Members of unethical practices.

Please be advised the YRCC878 Board of Directors will not tolerate the personal or professional defamation of its Board Members or anyone associated with the direction and operation of YRCC878.  If we obtain information as to which specific community members are engaging in this malicious behaviour, we will engage in a formal dialogue with these individuals up to and including legal discussions.

However, if any owner would like to question the YRCC878 Board about any corporation business activity (Finances, Contracts, Board Decisions, Meeting Minutes etc) or have questions for any of our associated professionals (Property Administrator, Auditor, Accountant, Cleaner etc), please follow the following steps:

• email our Property Administrator at office@yrcc878.com or the Board directly at outlining your questions, concerns, queries etc.
• you will then be invited to speak with the complete Board (30 minutes prior to the next official Board meeting) and/or review any documents (within the parameters of privacy legislation and confidentiality) you requested in your email. If required, we will make arrangements to have our auditor, accountants etc also available.
• you will then be able to attend our Board meeting as an observer. (Please note our Board meetings are always open to our owners). If any owner would like to attend our meetings, please email our Property Administrator.
• we will follow up in writing documenting your concerns and the outcome of our meeting/discussions and this documentation will be posted on our website within the parameters of privacy and confidentiality.

Further, owners have the option of dialoguing about community bonafide issues through the Owners Committee.

This current Board has always been transparent with the owners of YRCC878, and we will continue to be. We will however not tolerate malicious and untruthful actions designed to blemish our personal and/or professional reputations and integrity.

As community members, please govern yourself professionally and responsibly in this regard.
