Security service that does absolutely nothing

I am an owner of a condo unit at 7378 B. This past weekend I personally had to clean both the front and back door windows they were absolutely deplorable. The hall and lobbies smell like it was cleaned with dirty water and mop which creates a dirty rank odor. The elevators smelled like dog urine which almost made me vomit.

I also would like to express my concerns and disgust regarding our so-called security gatehouse. As a single lady I shouldn’t feel unsafe in the underground parking. I have seen people smoking marijuana in our visitors parking area and the security guy is up in the gate house totally unaware and doing nothing. Other times  random people are smoking marijuana in our stairwells. I have called security due to the fire alarm going off and for the above, the security guy on duty knew absolutely nothing about it and could not careless about it and rudely hang up. This is an outrage and I would consider it a crime using our maintenance fee for security service that does absolutely nothing to make me feel safe or in any way protected or valued as a human being.

As an owner who takes great pride in being a responsible and respectful person of my home at this condo building at 7378 B. The least I can expect from my hard-earned money that I pay faithfully every month towards my maintenance fee is a nice clean place to live in. I would also like to request a nice young man named Mike to clean our building. He was cleaning our building previously and he did an exceptional job. I have only seen a older man mop our hall in that last month and he did an atrocious job if anything he made it smell worse due to the dirty water and mop he used. This is absolutely unacceptable and I expect immediate action and a response in resolving this matter.

  1. As a further comment, if the Rooftop Patio project goes through, all these marijuana smoking indviduals will be appearing on the rooftop.

  2. The situation with our security/concierge (a shared facility issue) is unacceptable.
    the YRCC878 Board will be discussing this at the next SF Board meeting on June 30 and demanding definitive action.

    External building cleaning issues are also a SF issue which we are constantly following up on. Internal building cleaning issues will be discussed with our building cleaners immediately.

  3. Totally agree with Kathleen that the smell in the hallways of our building and inside the elevators in the past few months is absolutely disgusting. Who are the cleaners we pay the money to? Can’t we change them and hire responsible people? It is 7th of July and nothing changed from June 17th when the first posting regarding this issue appeared on the website. Who is in charge?

  4. The cleaning company was brought in by our previous Property Manager Vadym Koyen. Our board meet with the cleaning manager on more than one occasion and raised concerns about the state of our buildings. If they do not improve the quality of their services we will terminate their agreement.
